Inspired by the legacy of Dr. Jesse Miranda (1937–2019)—a pioneering advocate for Hispanic Christian leadership—the Center continues his vision by fostering leadership development, Education, and strategic partnerships through and with:

HISTORY: There are TWO Jesse Miranda Centers
Dr. Jesse Miranda, a graduate of Vanguard University, Southern California College. Established in 1999, The Jesse Miranda Center for Hispanic Leadership on the Costa Mesa campus VUSC offers dynamic programs designed to support students and leaders at every stage of their journey:
The JMC@VUSC is committed to education, equipping and empowering the next generation of Hispanic leaders through mentorship, research and community engagement. The JMC@VUSC’s goal is to cultivate confident, culturally competent individuals who will shape the future of faith-based and professional leadership spaces.
“Hearts Ablaze and Minds Aflame” is Dr. Miranda’s mantra for the Christian/Pentecostal student and practitioner. The Miranda family is proud to lend our patriarch’s name to our school.
